What stuff will you stock your making space with, what’s the cost, and how will you fund it?

8. MakeyMakey- 1 kit $70
Cost of other materials and kits~795.65

I am assuming this space will be quiet expensive, around $1,200. As I was doing the math I remembered that it would be more expensive that the original estimate because I only took into consideration one Ozobot. If I got enough for an entire class (16) or at least half that adds an additional $500. I will also need more sets of legos, K'nex, and the other more expensive kits. I can see this space easily costing $4,000 to get fully supplied with enough materials that an entire class would only have to work in pairs to share the materials.

With the overhwhelming cost of starting a maker space the big question is where the heck will this money come from. In my research I found there are a few options. These options including sponsorships, grants, sites like donor choose or indiegogo.
